Tis the Season!

2 more sleeps til the big day.. All this excitement, running around, parties, wrapping and wrapping and wrapping, walking the malls endlessly trying to find the right thing, cooking and of course shoveling..

Dont forget the shoveling...

I always feel like I never have enough for my kids. Today I am pondering this as I stare at a Christmas tree that is absolutely swallowed up by gifts. I spent way too much money again and hours of wrapping and now I completely forget what is even under there for my boys.

Walking the malls yet again, I am in a panic because I realize that I bought their girlfriends much more then them. It is easier to buy for girls though, from my perspective anyway.

I have to stop........ stop shopping..... I believe I am addicted to the looks on their faces as they open up their gifts and are thrilled with the contents..... it doesnt even matter that they are 20 and 26 - yes that is right.... my baby boys... it is no different for me whether they are 5 or 25....

Today, I will be satisfied with what I have for them and delight in the fact that we will be celebrating together.... so whatever is there is nothing compared to that....
